More To Reveal was brought into
LIFE because of a suggestion
from one of My Nephews which I consider more of a son that a
Nephew! He is a well mannered and behavied
individual who has learned what NOT TO DO! He as learned
that from ME! He still, is a wonderful and very
forgiving person.
I had a relapse over 4 months ago, long story but he
suggested that since I was going to try and stay sober that I
might want to get back into making websites, it would
help not only me into Staying Sober, but it will help many
others along the way. So with that said, More To
Reveal was thought of by myself when I was reading out of the
NA Basic Text, Chapter 10, "More Will Be Revealed" I
thought well hell there has been a lot more that has
been revealed since the 1930's when AA Alcoholics Anonymous came
into existence and even a more rapid amount of revealing since
NA Narcotics Anonymous Came
Around in the 1970's! So hey, let's check it
out! It says We are allowed to recovery with our
Pain!
What is Our Mission here at MWBR? Our mission is to
continue to carry the message of Recovery. To make sure
that we try and list all the ways in which people can recover
and in which they will NEVER have to use again! They say
never say NEVER! But from what I understand is that the
TRUE PROMISE IS
THAT we don't have to use again! We are
allowed to be able to recover with our Pain and that is
something that we never used to have a choice doing. To be able to actually say no. My nephew came over today and said come on you can have a beer can't you. I said no, see that will just make me want to go out and get me some dope. It just doesn't work anymore if it ever did. Also you and I both know that not only do you loose your self respect, you can end up loosing your soul! Or even worse end up dead. But most of us wouldn't be that lucky!
Even with everything that I have done, there were a few of my family members that never gave up on me when I was using. My hair was very long, my drug habit was nothing more than using anyone and anything to get what I wanted and I had the dope, so that wasn't the issue. What was I wanting or looking for. I know the answer! The answer is to have someone in my life again, yet I know that even without that I can stay Clean And Sober no matter what. I can keep on doing the deal, until my maker is ready to take me.
If I could say just one thing that would be that we can always learn from others. I know that there are many things that each of us are able to help each other with, and so much more has been Revealed since the 1930's when Alcoholics Anonymous started. Now it is our obligation to make sure that the More Is Revealed.
